{"id":303680,"date":"2026-07-23T12:34:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T12:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/303680\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T12:34:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T12:34:08","slug":"teen-girl-hospitalized-after-subway-surfing-in-queens-nypd-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/303680\/","title":{"rendered":"Teen girl hospitalized after subway surfing in Queens, NYPD says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-block-key=\"ghb35\">A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized Wednesday after she was injured while subway surfing in Queens, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"fnn2m\">Police said the girl got hurt on top of a southbound A train as it pulled into the Broad Channel subway station around 3:15 p.m. Officers found her conscious and alert, and said she had suffered injuries to her leg and torso.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"ee3h8\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NY_Scoop\/status\/2080124756544680230?s=20\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">bystander video posted to social media<\/a> appears to show the girl lying on her stomach on top of the train car as passengers gather around her. Firefighters and police eventually load her onto a stretcher and gently lower it down.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"58cm4\">EMS workers took the girl to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
