{"id":303831,"date":"2026-07-23T15:59:01","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T15:59:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/303831\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T15:59:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T15:59:01","slug":"man-with-box-cutter-threatens-muslim-women-on-queens-bus-in-suspected-hate-crime-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/303831\/","title":{"rendered":"Man with box cutter threatens Muslim women on Queens bus in suspected hate crime: police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK (1010 WINS) &#8212; Police are looking for a man who allegedly menaced two Muslim women while wielding a box cutter on a bus in Queens last week.<\/p>\n<p>The two women, ages 21 and 19, were riding a Q66 bus at 51st Street and Northern Boulevard in Woodside around 6 p.m. on July 16 when he targeted them, police said.<\/p>\n<p>He allegedly made anti-Muslim remarks, as well as threats of violence, against them while displaying a box cutter.<\/p>\n<p>He then fled the bus, police said.
