(WIBW) &#8211; Manhattan\u2019s annual Furniture Amnesty Day is still on at the moment ahead of a forecast of rain for the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In a post on the City of Manhattan\u2019s Facebook page, organizers still plan to host the annual day since conditions are expected to improve by the morning, but with some changes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">If anyone signed up to have crews pick up a furniture donation on Friday, the pickup start time originally set for 7 a.m. was moved to 8 a.m. to help keep the donated furniture dry. Donors are also being asked to keep the furniture indoors overnight and place it outside by 8 a.m. or as soon as conditions allow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">If crews visit a scheduled address and do not see furniture, they will make a note and may return later in the day. Volunteers can not enter homes or buildings to retrieve donations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The annual day is set for Friday, July 24, at Kansas State University\u2019s A-2 parking lot from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WIBW.
