Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster<\/a> have seemingly fled NYC for a surprising state, all to have a quiet time away amid all the backlash they’ve faced.<\/p>\n

On July 23, People <\/a>reported that the couple is having “a quiet summer together” in North Carolina: “Hugh and Sutton wanted to get away from the city.”<\/p>\n

Jackman “has been writing<\/a>, reading scripts and spending time with Sutton outside.” As for Foster, “has a group of friends” in North Carolina, so they have “a fun social life as well.”<\/p>\n

(And it seems her daughter Emily and her estranged husband Ted Griffin, have “spent time with” Foster and Jackman as well.)<\/p>\n

DeuxMoi was the first to break the news, with an insider claiming Foster is “teaching fitness classes.”<\/p>\n

For those who don’t know, Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness<\/a> married in April 1996, after meeting on the show Correlli the year prior. They adopted two children<\/a> named Oscar Maximillian, born in May 2000, and Ava Eliot, born in July 2005.<\/p>\n

Sadly, the pair called it quits after 27 years together, and separated in Sept 2023. They have yet to officially file for divorce, allegedly due to no prenup being in place<\/a>. Then, Jackman and Foster’s<\/a> relationship allegedly began as an affair in 2022, while they were working together on\u00a0The Music Man\u00a0on Broadway. They had met over a decade prior, in 2008, when they saw Shrek on Broadway.<\/p>\n

Then in June 2026, Jackman and Foster made their Instagram debut! He shared the photo with the caption reading, “And we’re are off to the premiere of @deathofrobinhood!! \ud83c\udff9\ud83c\udff9 @suttonlenore”<\/p>\n
