NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2014 The NYPD released photos of a man who slashed a 27-year-old good Samaritan with a pair of scissors aboard a Brooklyn subway train after he tried to break up an argument earlier this week.<\/p>\n
The attack happened at around 3:48 p.m. on Wednesday , aboard a southbound Q train near the Atlantic Avenue station in Downtown Brooklyn, authorities said.<\/p>\n
According to police, the suspect got into a verbal argument with another male passenger, which quickly turned into a physical fight.<\/p>\n
When the 27-year-old victim stepped in to try to calm the situation down, the suspect pulled out a pair of scissors and slashed him across the right hand, officials said.<\/p>\n
The victim got off the train at Atlantic Avenue to get help, while the attacker stayed on the train and fled. <\/p>\n
EMS responded and transported the victim to The Brooklyn Hospital Center with a severe laceration, where he was treated in stable condition.<\/p>\n
The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black pants.<\/p>\n
