{"id":305223,"date":"2026-07-25T00:10:50","date_gmt":"2026-07-25T00:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/305223\/"},"modified":"2026-07-25T00:10:50","modified_gmt":"2026-07-25T00:10:50","slug":"cold-brew-recall-issued-by-brooklyn-roasting-company-for-botulism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/305223\/","title":{"rendered":"Cold brew recall issued by Brooklyn Roasting Company for botulism"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>FOX Business\u2019 Lydia Hu reports live from the New York Stock Exchange, demonstrating the specialized process of &#8216;coffee cupping&#8217; by elite coffee graders.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/foxnews.com\/category\/us\/us-regions\/northeast\/new-york\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">New York<\/a>-based coffee company is recalling some of its cold brew drinks sold in New York and New Jersey because of a risk of botulism, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The Brooklyn Roasting Company issued <a href=\"https:\/\/foxnews.com\/category\/health\/healthy-living\/product-recalls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">the recall<\/a> this month for 2.5 gallon bags of pasteurized cold brew concentrate after finding that room temperature storage could lead to the growth of Clostridium botulinum toxin formation.<\/p>\n<p>The affected products were distributed between April 1 and June 20, and they include best by dates between June 3 and Sept. 30.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/foxnews.com\/food-drink\/cyclospora-outbreak-still-safe-eat-restaurants-heres-what-know\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">CYCLOSPORA OUTBREAK: IS IT STILL SAFE TO EAT AT RESTAURANTS?
