The performer was struck by an arrow during an act, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wgrz.com\/crime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">New York State Police<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The performer was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>                                            &#13;<br \/>\n                                                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wgrz.com\/assets\/shared-images\/icons\/arrow-circle-down.svg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>                                            &#13;<br \/>\n                                                This story continues below.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>State Police said troopers assigned to the county fair responded around 9:30 p.m. Friday to a report of circus personnel injured at the fairgrounds. Investigators from the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Middletown also responded.<\/p>\n<p>A preliminary investigation said Ana B. Daza Tavera, 42, and Edwin A. Cuervo Rangel, 38 \u2014 both of Waukesha, Wis. \u2014 were the performers involved.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said Daza Tavera shot an arrow at a foam target that Cuervo Rangel was holding during the act. The arrow struck Cuervo Rangel, causing injury.<\/p>\n<p>Cuervo Rangel was taken by air ambulance to Westchester Medical Center.
