The project includes a penthouse primary bedroom addition overlooking a neighbouring church and introduces Japan-inspired timber detailing throughout the interior. Image courtesy of Acheson Doyle Partners Architects<a href=\"https:\/\/archinect.com\/adparchitectsny\/project\/one-hanson-place\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">One Hanson Place<\/a>, Brooklyn, NY<\/p>\n<p>A landmark former bank in Brooklyn originally completed in 1929, One Hanson Place saw the restoration of the 63-foot-high Art Deco banking hall and the adaptation of the historic vault for retail use. Continuing projects include church rehabilitation, infrastructure upgrades, and accessibility and life safety improvements across the campus. The project included a new sanctuary, day school, gymnasium, rooftop terrace, offices, and a commercial kitchen supporting a community meal programme.
