The daredevil darlings who landed in cuffs after scaling the Empire State Building<\/a> in a wildly viral engagement stunt earlier this month finally got their ring back \u2013 and gave Manhattan prosecutors a shout-out for their help.<\/p>\n

Exhibitionist pair Angela Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Kuznetsov, 32, were granted supervised release<\/a> in Manhattan court just a day after they climbed the spire of the towering landmark, but claimed the flashy ring was still stowed away in a police station.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post Monday, Nikolau \u2013 who describes herself as a \u201cneoartist exploring identity, fear & freedom\u201d \u2013 posted photos <\/a>of their reclaimed rock in an array that also included snaps from the foolish July 1 feat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got the ring back! \ud83d\udda4\u201d Nikolau crowed. \u201cHuge thanks to the prosecutor! We also got back everything you see in the photo, along with our bank cards and passports. I just noticed the engraving on the ring today: \u2018Your full potential is on the other side of fear.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The banner the lovebirds unfurled more than 1,000 feet in the air \u2013 at the iconic building\u2019s spire \u2013 struck a similarly motivational tone.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace,\u201d it said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ring was engraved with the message, \u201cYour full potential is on the other side of fear,\u201d Nikolau said. Instagram\/angela_nikolau<\/p>\n

The Manhattan District Attorney\u2019s Office declined to comment on Nikolau\u2019s message of thanks.<\/p>\n

While all seemed rosy for the newly-engaged couple, they are set to appear again in court on August 24, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

They also could be staring down a sentence of up to seven years in prison if convicted of the charges \u2013 which include felonies: burglary, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, officials have said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple, of East Orange, New Jersey, breached a mesh gate on the 102nd floor of the building \u2014 the highest publicly accessible story \u2014 to reach the 103rd floor, which is exclusively used for maintenance, a source previously told The Post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jaw-dropping POV-style footage of the pair\u2019s vantage from the top of the Empire State Building was posted on Nikolau\u2019s Instagram page.<\/p>\n

Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch praised the cops who arrested the climbers, as she posted the footage<\/a> of their arrest on social media.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cA glimpse into the work of our Emergency Services Unit,\u201d she wrote. \u201cGod bless these officers.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the couple\u2019s defense attorney, Jason Krinsky, argued prosecutors overcharged and contended there was no evidence of burglary tools.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven the building\u2019s own people, the Empire State\u2019s own people, said there was no risk to tenants, guests on the observation deck or anyone in the building,\u201d the lawyer claimed following their arraignment. \u201cIt was a message of love,\u201d he said. \u201cShe didn\u2019t say \u2018no.\u2019 So you gotta give him that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nikolau and Kuznetsov were the subjects of a 2024 Netflix documentary, \u201cSkywalkers: A Love Story,\u201d which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival that year.<\/p>\n
