Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday vowed to visit New York in September despite \u201chate-spewing\u201d Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s call for his arrest for alleged war crimes in Gaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, I\u2019m going to New York,\u201d Netanyahu said in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, when asked about Mamdani declaring last week that he\u2019s \u201cnot welcome\u201d in the Big Apple because of the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court<\/a> (ICC) in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m definitely going there,\u201d the Israeli prime minister continued. \u201cI\u2019m going to speak the truth in front of this, you know, hate-spewing elected official who\u2019s pitting one group of New Yorkers against the others.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"IsraeliNetanyahu accused Mamdani of turning New Yorkers against each other by calling for his arrest. FOX News<\/p>\n

Netanyahu<\/a> specifically accused Mamdani of turning his supporters \u201cagainst New York Jews.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, what are we in the 1930s? What is this?\u201d he added. \u201cYou know, so much hate, so many lies, and you know the big lie is about the ICC \u2026 that\u2019s a corrupt, evil organization.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mamdani, in a July 21 video statement, admitted that he doesn\u2019t have the legal authority to arrest Netanyahu should he visit New York \u2013 but slammed him as an unwelcome \u201cwar criminal.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pro-Palestinian, socialist mayor further called on the Trump administration to enforce the ICC warrant and arrest Netanyahu, despite the US government not recognizing the international court\u2019s authority.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu said his visit to New York City would come in September, during the United Nations General Assembly meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Israeli leader was in Washington Tuesday for late Sen. Lindsey Graham\u2019s funeral<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Netanyahu praised Graham for being \u201cabsolutely unapologetic and unabashed in supporting the American-Israel alliance.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe believed that Israel\u2019s security and America\u2019s security were intertwined,\u201d Netanyahu said, adding that Graham \u201ccouldn\u2019t care about the winds of fashion.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe couldn\u2019t care about social media and all these bots that try to play the American people for fools,\u201d the prime minister continued. \u201cHe said you have one real ally in the Middle East and in the world, Israel.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Netanyahu met with President Trump at the White House<\/a> before Graham\u2019s funeral and described his sit-down with the commander-in-chief as \u201cone of the best meetings that we\u2019ve had.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI always hate to disappoint our would-be critics who are trying to find, you know, cracks in our alliance,\u201d he said, likening the current state of the US-Israel alliance to a \u201cwall of granite.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe president is so clear \u2026 we have a common commitment.
