STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Pete Davidson<\/a> is teaming up with Amazon for a new ad campaign promoting the launch of Alexa+, the company\u2019s next-generation AI assistant. <\/p>\n

In the first spot, titled \u201cPete Davidson books a ride with the all-new Alexa+,\u201d the Staten Island native starts his morning with a cup of coffee and a mild identity crisis. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I\u2019ve been thinking \u2026 maybe I should just go by Peter now?\u201d he muses to Alexa. The two banter over possible nicknames \u2014 \u201cPetey,\u201d \u201cLittle P,\u201d \u201cBig D\u201d and \u201cDouble P\u201d \u2014 before Davidson ultimately decides to stick with the classic. \u201cPete. I like it,\u201d Alexa says approvingly. \u201cI like you too,\u201d Pete replies with a smile.<\/p>\n

The second ad, \u201cPete Davidson fixes his sink with the all-new Alexa+,\u201d finds him crouched under a cabinet, armed with the wrong tools.<\/p>\n

\u201cUh, I need help fixing my sink,\u201d he tells Alexa. When asked if he has a pipe wrench, Davidson holds up a scrub brush. \u201cMaybe I should schedule a plumber on Thumbtack,\u201d Alexa replies. \u201cGood call,\u201d he says. \u201cYou da man!\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Amazon, Alexa+ is its most advanced and proactive AI assistant yet, designed for more natural back-and-forth exchanges. It can help users manage their homes, plan their schedules, discover entertainment, and connect with thousands of services like Uber and Thumbtack. Alexa+ is available for free with Prime membership or as a paid monthly subscription for non-members. <\/p>\n

The Amazon campaign marks another addition to Davidson\u2019s growing list of projects. The comedian is set to star in \u201cThat Time We Met<\/a>,\u201d a romantic comedy opposite \u201cFallout\u201d star Ella Purnell. Davidson has been steadily expanding his acting r\u00e9sum\u00e9, starring earlier this year in the horror film \u201cThe Home<\/a>\u201d and the action-comedy \u201cThe Pickup,<\/a>\u201d alongside Eddie Murphy.<\/p>\n

Off-screen, Davidson and his girlfriend, model Elsie Hewitt<\/a>, are preparing to welcome their first child together. The couple has reportedly talked about marriage<\/a> but isn\u2019t rushing down the aisle just yet. Davidson has spoken openly about his excitement for fatherhood<\/a>, saying it\u2019s something he\u2019s wanted \u201csince I was young.\u201d<\/p>\n
