(WRDW\/WAGT) &#8211; Thursday is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen, and buying a Blizzard means supporting the Children\u2019s Hospital of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Arshiq Momin, owner and operator of a local Dairy Queen, said a dollar or more from every Blizzard purchased Thursday will go to the local Children\u2019s Miracle Network Hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cAny blizzard that gets purchased, a dollar or more proceeds will go to the local Children\u2019s Miracle Network Hospital,\u201d Momin said. \u201cIt helps them get equipment, helps them save life-saving procedures, helps them just get what they need to help get the kids better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/XDWDSQOE7JA2RLLDRX7JBE7LQ4.png\" width=\"1909\" height=\"1074\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Momin said the annual event is about more than selling ice cream.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cIt\u2019s something that\u2019s bigger than us,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s something that one day a year instead of us, let\u2019s look out for the kids. Let\u2019s help get the kids better. Every day that a kid is able to get better is a day that\u2019s better for us as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Customers can also purchase balloons at the register, with all proceeds going to the Children\u2019s Miracle Network Hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Momin said his location will also have games and face painting starting around noon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Dairy Queen locations in the Augusta area are participating from open to close Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WRDW\/WAGT.
