The Beckhams spent several weeks in America earlier this month, following the World Cup around and spending quality time in their second home of Miami.<\/p>\n

But they are no closer to reconnecting with their son, Brooklyn, who is based in the US, yet did not attend any of the matches with his relatives, instead opting to watch from home. The eldest Beckham sibling, 27, even snubbed his sister Harper\u2019s 15th birthday dinner and failed to mark her special day on social media, unlike last year, when he and wife Nicola Peltz sent her a message via Instagram stories.<\/p>\n

According to our insiders, it\u2019s told the family everything they need to know \u2013 including that they no longer have any place in Brooklyn\u2019s life \u2013 and Victoria, in particular, doesn\u2019t think that will change while he\u2019s married to Nicola, 31.<\/p>\n

\u2018Brooklyn could easily have put his issues with his parents aside to make his little sister happy, but clearly, he\u2019s now just too far gone to even do that,\u2019 says our source. \u2018All they can do is pray that he comes to his senses and somehow breaks out of this, but the likelihood of that happening when Nicola is in his life seems unlikely. It\u2019s no secret the family blame Nicola for turning Brooklyn into a different person. Of course, they can\u2019t say that publicly, because that would just trigger another war.\u2019<\/p>\n

Brooklyn has refused to accept Nicola played a role in his estrangement, claiming instead in his now-infamous six-page statement in January that parents David, 51, and Victoria, 52, exploited him and that, rather than being controlled, he was \u2018standing up for [himself] for the first time\u2019. In the same tirade, he accused them of trying to hijack his 2022 wedding and sabotage his relationship with Nicola, claiming Victoria\u2019s scene-stealing antics on the day reduced the bride to tears. And since then, he hasn\u2019t held back in telling the world \u2013 and his parents \u2013 he\u2019ll always put Nicola first. He\u2019s also doubled down on his devotion to his in-laws, who he\u2019s symbolically taken as his own family.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Harper\u2019s pain over her brother\u2019s estrangement has been under yet more scrutiny over the past month. All this, we\u2019re told, has left those inside the Beckham camp coming to just one conclusion: the only way they\u2019ll ever find peace is if Brooklyn and Nicola hit the skids.
