The teller triggered a silent alarm and told Masich the cash machine was inaccessible.

He left and 13 minutes later, went into a Santander Bank, but left there when he was told he needed to take off the mask.

When Middletown Police heard the call, they told police in Bensalem to look for a black Nissan that was involved in a bank robbery earlier that month.

Twenty-one minutes after the initial robbery attempt, a Bensalem officer saw a car matching that description outside another bank, then saw Masich run out with about $4,000 in a bag. He was taken into custody outside the bank without incident.

According to the criminal complaint, Masich confessed to similar bank robberies in Langhorne, North Wales and Newtown Square.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 48-year-old man will spend at least nine years in prison for a string…

[39
56974,303,9,24,63,3209,134,136,135
post-311833","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-staten-island","tag-bank-robbery","tag-crime","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-city","tag-nyc","tag-sentencing","tag-staten-island","tag-staten-island-headlines","tag-staten-island-news
["GET
