\u2014 Alejandro (@m_alejandr07) August 2, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n At around 2:30 am on August 2, 2026, a 44-year-old man scaled the north tower on the Manhattan<\/a> side of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York<\/a> City. He took off his clothes and tied multiple flags, including a Kazakh flag with writing on it, to the top of the bridge. A video posted on X by @m_alejandr07 shows the scary visuals.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to the New York Post, it was not immediately clear what the writing on the flag said. The NYPD\u2019s Emergency Service Unit tried to convince the man to come down. However, he leapt from the tower into the East River as onlookers watched in shock. He was reported to be in stable condition. The videos showing the man at the top of the bridge are now going viral on social media.<\/p>\n Many users commented, \u201cWow, he actually survived,\u201d while another wrote, \u201cThat\u2019s crazy.\u201d Some also expressed concern, saying the man may need help. Fortunately, the man survived and is now receiving medical care. We are now awaiting further details regarding the reason behind his actions.\u00a0<\/p>\n The incident comes less than a month after a woman was rescued by NYPD officers from the steel cables of the Brooklyn Bridge.
