\n A new application <\/a>filed late last month with the Planning Department now calls for building the project as a 147-unit income-restricted complex catering to low- and moderate-income renters. <\/a>The revised project would include 99 parking spaces.<\/p>\n DFH Architects<\/a> is designing the project, as was the case for the prior iteration of the project. Plans portray the finished product as a contemporary podium-type building.<\/p>\n \n The affordable project is the third proposal for the site at 975 Manhattan Place within the past decade. Previously, the Planning Commission approved the construction of a similar project on the same site by Bastion Development Corp.<\/a>, which had proposed a 95-unit building using density bonus incentives.
