PARK SLOPE, NY\u2014 Park Slope has been ranked the top luxury market in the country for 2026, with demand for high-end homes outpacing available inventory, according to a new Redfin report.<\/a><\/p>\n The neighborhood’s 11215 ZIP code ranked No. 1 on Redfin’s 2026 list of the country’s hottest luxury neighborhoods, which analyzed ZIP codes in the 100 largest U.S. metropolitan areas based on growth in listing views and Redfin’s Compete Score, a measure of how difficult it is for buyers to win a home.<\/p>\n \n Subscribe<\/a>\n<\/p>\n Luxury homes in Park Slope had a median sale price of $1.77 million, more than double the New York City luxury market median of $795,000, according to Redfin.<\/p>\n Redfin Senior Economist Asad Khan said luxury buyers are influencing the housing market despite high mortgage rates and economic uncertainty.<\/p>\n “Unfazed by high mortgage rates and an uncertain global economy, luxury homebuyers are having an outsized impact on the otherwise tepid spring 2026 housing market,” Khan said.<\/p>\n Khan said many sought-after neighborhoods share features that appeal beyond the luxury market, including amenities, schools, commuting options and limited housing turnover.<\/p>\n Homes in Park Slope are selling quickly, with luxury properties spending a median of 44 days on the market, according to Redfin.<\/p>\n Luxury listing views in the neighborhood increased 34.4 percent year over year, while luxury home prices rose 10.6 percent. <\/p>\n About 6.3 percent of luxury homes sold above their asking price.<\/p>\n On Monday, a five-bedroom, four-bathroom triplex at 645 Carroll St.<\/a> sold for $4.25 million. The 3,060-square-foot home was built in 1899.<\/p>\n A four-bedroom multifamily home at 59 Garfield Place<\/a> sold for $3.463 million, while a three-bedroom multifamily property at 303A 16th St.<\/a> sold for $1.58 million.<\/p>\n The top 10 luxury neighborhoods included communities across the country, from coastal markets in California and New Jersey to growing areas in Florida and Virginia.<\/p>\n Highland Park, Illinois, ranked No. 2, followed by Overland Park, Kansas, at No. 3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Buyers are competing for luxury homes in a Brooklyn neighborhood drawing national attention.
