Black Brook man arrested on illegal weapons charges as New York State Police seize cache of guns<\/p>\n

A North Country man was arrested after police seized dozens of guns from his home in Black Brook. <\/p>\n

The New York State Police Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Michael Ward at his home on Birchwood Drive on Tuesday as they executed a search warrant.<\/p>\n

Police said they seized 42 guns, including two assault rifles, a sawed-off shotgun, components for other assault rifles and nearly a dozen high-capacity ammunition feeding devices during the search. They also seized 50 grams of psychoactive mushrooms, the release said.<\/p>\n

Ward was charged with four counts of criminal weapon possession.
