{"id":317036,"date":"2026-08-09T02:52:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T02:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/317036\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T02:52:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T02:52:08","slug":"woman-54-stabbed-in-stomach-inside-upper-east-side-apartment-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/317036\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman, 54, stabbed in stomach inside Upper East Side apartment building"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 54-year-old woman was stabbed inside an apartment building on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/07\/30\/seventh-person-has-died-from-legionnaires-outbreak-on-upper-east-side\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Upper East Side<\/a> of Manhattan early Saturday afternoon, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Cops arrived around 12:39 p.m. at the luxury co-op on E. 73rd St. between Second and Third Aves., where they found the victim stabbed in the stomach.<\/p>\n<p>EMS medics rushed the woman to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyp.org\/locations\/manhattan\/nyp-weill-cornell-medical-center\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weil Cornell<\/a> where she was in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>Police took a person of interest into custody.
