Before moving forward, the School Construction Authority must acquire the property at 25 Wall St. where a surface parking lot has stood since the 1970s. The agency hopes to finalize the acquisition by mid-August, with a goal of opening the school in time for the 2031 school year. On July 16, the New York City Council approved the School Construction Authority&#8217;s site plan, and the deal has been in the works since at least October 2025.
