All prices were accurate at the time of publishing.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike most New York City rental apartment searches, this one-bedroom unit on the Park Slope and Gowanus border in Brooklyn seemingly \u201cfell into<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/tesswunder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" data-gtm-event-category=\"on-page_interactions\" data-gtm-trigger=\"click\" data-gtm-ui-component=\"post_external_text_link\"> Tess Wunder\u2019s<\/a> lap.\u201d Previously, she\u2019d lived in an apartment with a lower rent because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it was about to increase.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tess, who shares about designing her apartment as well as fashion on <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@tesswunder\" data-gtm-event-category=\"on-page_interactions\" data-gtm-trigger=\"click\" data-gtm-ui-component=\"post_external_text_link\">TikTok<\/a>, was slightly stressed about finding another home within her price range. Luckily, a coworker\u2019s landlord was looking to fill a space, and it was within her budget.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first saw the apartment, I really had to see the vision because the previous tenant did not take care of the unit,\u201d Tess explained. \u201cEven despite this, I saw so much potential, and I loved the overall character of the space.
