ATLANTA \u2014 A Georgia man who moved to New York City says he ended up with a bunch of unexpected guests outside his home because the house has the same address used for Peter Parker and Aunt May\u2019s home in the Spider-Man comics. <\/p>\n

Jack Shi bought the home three years ago after moving from Georgia when his daughter graduated from NYU. <\/p>\n

He said he had no idea about the address until his real estate agent told him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe decided to buy this house, and then the agent told me this is Spider-Man\u2019s house. I\u2019m very surprised,\u201d Shi told WABC-TV.<\/a> <\/p>\n

The house sits along Ingram Street in the city\u2019s Forest Hills neighborhood. Shi said people stop by all the time to get pictures of his home. <\/p>\n

\u201cAlmost every day. Some people, they take a picture of the house,\u201d Shi said. <\/p>\n

The attention the house gets has gone far beyond people just taking pictures. Shi said he\u2019s received around 1,000 letters from children who believe Spider-Man lives there.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe 1,000 letters, very young. And I ask my daughter to answer this later,\u201d Shi said. <\/p>\n

Some kids ask Spider-Man questions. Some send drawings, and apparently some just want to spend time with their favorite superhero. So, his spider sense is tingling every time his doorbell is ringing.<\/p>\n

Shi said he sees something bigger with all the attention that his home gets. <\/p>\n

\u201cI see the hope and the future of America,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
