The 27-year-old has shared his love of cooking on social media for years, but his recent recipe led to him getting roasted in the comments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This week, the aspiring chef shared a video of himself preparing a tomato pasta dish, but it was the very first step that had people emotional. \u00a0In what was likely a joke, Brooklyn grabbed a large pot and walked onto the dock. \u201cOf course we get some pasta water,\u201d he said before dunking the pot into the sea and scooping up the seawater.<\/p>\n
From there, Beckham got to work on his dish, chopping cherry tomatoes before saut\u00e9ing them in oil with garlic. \u00a0He then reached for his own Cloud23 hot sauce, pouring it over the tomatoes before eventually adding the cooked noodles.<\/p>\n
Brooklyn later sat down with another chef to taste the finished product, and they both looked pleased with the creation. \u00a0The internet, however, was ready to roast him like a Thanksgiving brisket. \u00a0While Brooklyn<\/a> was likely rage-baiting, he probably wasn\u2019t expecting things to get so personal.\u00a0<\/p>\n The most liked comment reads, \u201cWhen his dad was the same age, he\u2019d won the treble and just signed for Real Madrid. But tomato pasta is a pretty good achievement too.\u201d \u00a0\u201cIs there no beginning to his talents?!\u201d Another person wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cPasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please sir,\u201d one person joked. \u201cHe’s an actual chef playing along so he doesn’t get fired,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cTomorrow I\u2019m making corn flakes,\u201d someone else added, while another quipped, \u201cIn the second episode, I\u2019ll be making a cup of tea.\u201d One commenter simply asked, \u201cBrooklyn, can you show me how to make a glass of water next?\u201d<\/p>\n You may also likeContinue reading<\/p>\n An Italian even entered the chat, writing, \u00a0\u201cI\u2019m Italian, and pasta water is not sea water\u2026 You have to use water and then add salt once it is boiling.\u201d \u00a0People then found a way to bring his family drama with one person writing, \u201che needs to make amends with his parents next.\u201d<\/p>\n Of course, there were plenty of people convinced the whole thing had to be a joke. \u201cHe’s just rage-baiting at this point,\u201d one person wrote. \u201cThere\u2019s no way this is serious,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n But not everyone understood why Beckham was receiving so much hate for simply making a meal. \u201cWhy the hate to this boy that is only cooking,\u201d one person asked.<\/p>\n \u201cWhy does everyone just hate on him in the comments? It\u2019s actually so sad. Hope you all find peace one day,\u201d another defended him. \u201cWhy are y’all so evil to him??\u201d a third person added.<\/p>\n The reaction is nothing new for Beckham, who has been posting cooking videos for years and has become something of an internet punching bag in the process.<\/p>\n In 2023, he admitted that the criticism surrounding his cooking videos no longer bothered him. \u201cTo be honest, I\u2019m used to the hate,\u201d Beckham told Insider at the time. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t really bother me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCooking makes me happy,\u201d he added. \u201cI have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me.\u201d While he’s not on speaking terms with his parents, he shares the same passion with his dad, David.\u00a0<\/p>\n The retired soccer star is famously the family cook<\/a> and has previously poked fun at Victoria Beckham\u2019s<\/a> skills in the kitchen.<\/p>\n Brooklyn, however, credits his nanny. \u201cI actually learned how to cook my first dish with my nanny, Peggy,\u201d he told FOOD52. \u201cI hold her very close to my heart, and it just reminds me of her every time I cook.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"For better or worse, Brooklyn Beckham knows how to get people talking.
