Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> is back with another profoundly confusing cooking video<\/a> \u2014 this time filmed on a yacht. In a TikTok video posted<\/a> last week, the 27-year-old announced he\u2019d be making \u201ctomato pasta,\u201d then immediately cut to a clip of himself holding a stainless-steel pot off the back of a boat and scooping up some \u201cpasta water\u201d straight from the sea. He then proceeded to dice up some cherry tomatoes, roast them in a pan with olive oil and a prominently placed dribble of his Cloud 23 hot sauce<\/a>, and boil his noodles in the seawater.<\/p>\n

Am I a professionally trained chef? No. But even I know that it\u2019s best to cook pasta in boiling water with a pinch of salt \u2014 not a vat of liquid heavily seasoned by the Mediterranean and the fuel from your own yacht. As far as we know, the eldest of the Beckham brood was never bedridden with seawater-poisoning, though he did get what I suspect was his goal all along: a ton of incensed commenters. \u201cPasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please sir,\u201d one noted, while another advised Beckham to brace his bowels: \u201cAs [an] italian, I\u2019m pretty sure that sea water is the best way to spent [sic] all the next day in the bathroom \ud83d\udc4d.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn is known for embracing these sorts of unconventional cooking methods and recipes \u2014 blue smoothies at Erewhon, blow-torching grilled cheeses<\/a> \u2014 and the bit happens to be great for engagement. So great you might even forget he\u2019s feuding with his famous parents and had to borrow his godfather Elton John\u2019s yacht instead of vacationing<\/a> with the rest of his family. On that front, well done, chef.<\/p>\n
