Brooklyn Beckham<\/a>‘s culinary skills have divided opinion on social media, but his latest effort left some fans horrified.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old aspiring chef and son of David Beckham<\/a>, 50, and Victoria Beckham<\/a>, 51, took to TikTok<\/a> on August 6, to whip up a tomato pasta recipe.<\/p>\n

But he confused some social media users by using seawater to cook his pasta.<\/p>\n

He began the clip by saying: “Today, I’m going to make some tomato pasta.”<\/p>\n

Brooklyn \u2013 who is currently estranged from his family<\/a> \u2013 was then seen standing on a jetty, before announcing, “Of course we get some pasta water.”<\/p>\n

He then proceeded to dunk his saucepan in the seawater, before placing the pan down in a kitchen.<\/p>\n

However, the move left some of his followers stunned.<\/p>\n

“Gross,” one user wrote in the comments section. “Takes sea water from the engine where oil and chemicals leak thru. Boiling seawater doesn’t kill chemical pollutants, heavy metals, and all toxins.”<\/p>\n

Another added, “Pasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please sir.”<\/p>\n

Others believe his seawater move was part of an online manipulation tactic.<\/p>\n

“He just rage bating at this point,” a third person chimed in and said while a fourth wrote, “There’s no way this is serious.”<\/p>\n

Not everyone was bashing Brooklyn, though.<\/p>\n

A supporter posted, “Why does everyone just hate on him in the comments, it’s actually so sad. Hope you all find peace one day.”<\/p>\n

“He gets so much hate for no reason,” another commented. “Keep being you Brooklyn, haters gonna hate.”<\/p>\n

Brooklyn captioned the clip, “Tomato pasta,” with a heart emoji. His latest effort is in sharp contrast to one of his baking creations in February, which fans seemed to universally love.<\/p>\n

As reported by <\/a>Star<\/a>, he dropped a casual new photo dump via Instagram<\/a> on February 12, giving followers a peek inside his low-key day at home \u2013 including mirror selfies, adorable pups, and some seriously photogenic loaves of sourdough.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn attracted plenty of praise for the bread. One follower wrote, “That last pic though,” while another added, “That sourdough looks incredible.”<\/p>\n
