President Donald Trump said he was looking into ways to \u201cavert\u201d the implementation of New York City\u2019s pied-a-terre tax\u2014the tax on second homes owned by out-of-state residents that has served as a centerpiece to Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s agenda and proven controversial among some of the city\u2019s wealthiest residents.<\/p>\n
