Andrew Cuomo has 41.6% and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa has 7.1%. \nMore than 2 million voters cast their ballot in the 2025 election, the biggest turnout for a mayor’s race since 1969, the city’s Board of Elections said.
\nNew York City residents\u00a0voted \u201cyes\u201d for ballot proposals 2 through 5 and \u201cno\u201d for ballot proposal 6<\/a>, the AP projects.
\nDemocrat Shirley Aldebol is the projected winner in the race for City Council District 13 in the Bronx. According to the AP, with more than 89% of the expected vote in, Aldebol had 51.7% of the vote, incumbent Republican Kristy Marmorato had 46.3% of the vote and Joel Rivera, who ran as an independent candidate, had 2.1% of the vote.
\nDemocrat Phil Wong is the projected winner in the race for City Council District 30 in Queens. According to the AP, with more than 87% of the expected vote in, Wong had 55.2% of the vote, while Republican Alicia Vaichunas had 44.8% of the vote.
\nDemocrat Kayla Santosuosso is the projected winner in the race for City Council District 47 in Brooklyn. According to the AP, with more than 88% of the expected vote in, Santosuosso had 59.4% of the vote, while Sarantopoulos\u00a0had 40.6% of the vote.
\nIncumbent Jumaane Williams is the projected winner in the race for Public Advocate, Spectrum News projects. According to the AP, with more than 89% of the expected vote in, Williams had 72.9% of the vote, Republican Gonzalo Duran had 24.9% of the vote and Marty Dolan, who ran as an independent candidate on \u201cThe Unity\u201d Party line, had 2.3%.
\nDemocrat Mark Levine is the projected winner for city comptroller, Spectrum News projects. According to the AP, with more than 89% of the expected vote in, Levine had 75.1% of the vote, Republican Peter Kefalas had 22.8% of the vote and Ismael Malav\u00e9 P\u00e9rez, who ran as an independent candidate on “The Unity” Party line, had 2.1%.<\/p>\n
