A 34-year-old woman was shot and wounded after a gunman ambushed her in the driveway of her Bronx home, police said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The victim was struck in her left arm and buttocks as she pulled into the driveway of her Hollywood Ave. home near Dewey Ave. in Throgs Neck<\/a> shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, according to law enforcement.<\/p>\n

The shooter, wearing a black sweatshirt, was waiting inside a gray SUV when, upon seeing the victim drive up in her Mercedes-Benz sedan, he exited his vehicle and opened fire, cops said.<\/p>\n

Medics rushed the victim to Jacobi Medical Center<\/a>, where she\u2019s expected to survive.<\/p>\n

Police recovered one 9-mm. shell casing from the scene.
