A half-sister to the dual Middleton Stakes winner and multiple Group 1-placed See The Fire (Sea The Stars<\/a>) and three other stakes performers, including this year’s Derby Italiano hero Venetian Prince (St Mark’s Basilica<\/a>), she is like all her siblings under the care of Andrew Balding, who won this 12 months ago with the subsequent Sirenia Stakes scorer Five Ways.<\/p>\n
MISS MINIVER (IRE) (Wootton Bassett {GB}) is a significant first-timer for Godolphin, being their 800,000gns Tattersalls October Book 1 purchase and a half-sister to the Dubai Turf hero Facteur Cheval (Ribchester). Roger Varian saddles the newcomer, whose peers include the Cheveley Park Stud duo Coaxed (GB) (Baaeed {GB}) and Sweltering (GB) (Palace Pier {GB}). Coaxed is a daughter of the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes heroine Persuasive (Dark Angel) representing the Gosdens, while Sweltering is a half-sister to Ulysses’s smart pair Holloway Boy and Humidity from the Andrew Balding stable. Also in the mix is Amo Racing and Andrew Rosen’s Friendly Force (GB) (Mehmas {Ire}), a Kevin Philippart De Foy-trained full-sister to the former’s flagship Persian Force.<\/p>\n
