Focusing on basketball at the University of Arizona, Budinger went on to be selected as the No. 44 pick of the 2009 NBA draft to play for teams like the Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers<a class=\"maisdio-link\" href=\"#\" data-sport=\"nba\" data-team=\"20000013\" data-name=\"Indiana Pacers\" data-track-content=\"\" data-content-name=\"mai-sportsdataio-link\" data-content-piece=\"Indiana Pacers\"><\/a> and the Phoenix Suns<a class=\"maisdio-link\" href=\"#\" data-sport=\"nba\" data-team=\"20000029\" data-name=\"Phoenix Suns\" data-track-content=\"\" data-content-name=\"mai-sportsdataio-link\" data-content-piece=\"Phoenix Suns\"><\/a>. Pivoting to beach volleyball years later, he established himself as a noteworthy figure on the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) circuit and even represented Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Budinger\u2019s Skechers partnership announcement comes just before his induction to the Manhattan Beach Pier Walk of Fame, cementing his connection to the Manhattan Beach community and great contributions to beach volleyball. He is also gearing up to play at the AVP Manhattan Beach Open August 14-16.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve always believed that the best performances come when you feel your best,\u201d said Budinger. \u201cThat\u2019s exactly what Skechers represents to me. Being based in Manhattan Beach, competing on these sands, and now partnering with a brand that shares this community as its home makes it all feel incredibly natural.
