Their lineup scored ten runs, primarily in a seven run outburst in the fourth inning off of Queens pitcher Michelle Roche, with nine different players recording at least one hit or walk. On the mound, Jill Albayati and Nicki Eckert combined to pitch the full seven innings for the Firebells allowing only three runs (one earned) while striking out five.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The Queens will look to regroup after their first loss and avoid letting the Firebells tie them for the league\u2019s best record.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"After a couple of off days the WPBL resumes this evening!
