<\/p>\nAs they narrowly missed each other on holiday, Brooklyn\u2019s next move has upset his parents<\/p>\n

Almost eight months on from the damning statement about his family, Brooklyn Beckham\u2019s relationship with them is showing no signs of repair. In fact, it was revealed last week that the eldest Beckham child and his wife Nicola Peltz had missed bumping into parents David and Victoria by minutes.<\/p>\n
With both families holidaying in the south of France, Brooklyn, 27, and his wife, 31, were spotted with his godfather Sir Elton John, picking up an ice cream while his parents ate in a nearby restaurant.<\/p>\n
But while the Beckhams already find it painful to have no contact with their estranged son, an insider tells heat things are set to go from bad to worse. The couple, who married in April 2022, are planning to meet up with Brooklyn\u2019s grandparents back in the UK \u2013 leaving Victoria, 52, devastated.<\/p>\n
\u2018David and Vic were extremely hurt when they heard Brooklyn and Nicola were planning to meet family members while they\u2019re in the UK. Of course, there was no talk of them meeting with David and Victoria, which just twisted the knife even more \u2013 they\u2019re furious.<\/p>\n
\u2018He\u2019s also going there to promote his hot sauce brand [Cloud 23], so there\u2019s the possibility of more drama if the feud comes up in interviews.\u2019<\/p>\n
And far from encouraging Brooklyn to patch things up with his family, we\u2019re told Nicola is seeing the visit as an opportunity to clear their name. \u2018She wants them to be able to hold their heads high in Brooklyn\u2019s homeland,\u2019 the insider says. \u2018Nicola wants to show people they\u2019re not trying to hide from anyone \u2013 and that it\u2019s the Beckhams who have been causing the issues, not them.\u2019<\/p>\n
While Brooklyn\u2019s family have offered several olive branches to the Peltz-Beckhams, they\u2019ve fallen on deaf ears. In June, Harper, 15, was pictured delivering a letter to her brother\u2019s LA mansion, but the couple weren\u2019t at home. A rep for the Peltz-Beckhams slammed the stunt as \u2018choreographed for the cameras\u2019. Other attempts by Brooklyn\u2019s brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21 \u2013 as well as his parents \u2013 have been ignored.<\/p>\n
Now, our insider says, \u2018Brooklyn wants to meet with the family he\u2019s still talking to, including David\u2019s mum Sandra and Vic\u2019s dad Tony, who he feels particularly close to. They\u2019ve been in touch throughout all the drama, but David and Vic have said Brooklyn will be crossing a line if he visits any of his grandparents while they\u2019re still cut off.\u2019<\/p>\n
The source continues, \u2018The wider family are all worried about Brooklyn\u2019s arrival. They\u2019ll be happy to see him, of course, but there\u2019ll still be that elephant in the room \u2013 they feel he should see his parents if he visits them.\u2019<\/p>\n
There\u2019s also another awkward stumbling block. \u2018A few family members are also slightly scared of Nicola, perhaps because she\u2019s from a hugely wealthy background. Most of David\u2019s family are from the East End. They just hope it\u2019s Brooklyn who\u2019s making all these decisions about his family \u2013 they worry he might come to regret it.\u2019<\/p>\n
We\u2019re told Brooklyn is hoping his trip to the UK could give his hot sauce business a boost with some high-profile interviews, although whoever he speaks to will clearly have other topics on their agenda.<\/p>\n
\u2018Brooklyn is in talks for some TV interviews. He wants to talk about Cloud 23, but he\u2019s not naive \u2013 he knows he will have to talk about his family. He\u2019s had offers from every show in the UK and they\u2019re all desperate to secure him,\u2019 says our source.<\/p>\n
\u2018Brooklyn will try to keep the focus on his career, but he\u2019s happy to say a few words to set the record straight.
