(WWTI) \u2013 A 66-year-old Moira man is facing multiple charges, including burglary, for an alleged incident last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On August 7, 2026, New York State Police arrested Fred Wilson, age 66, of Moira, and charged him with second-degree burglary, criminal mischief, and petit larceny.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a data-ylk=\"slk:Latest Stories;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.informnny.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Latest Stories<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Just after 2:20 p.m. August 6,, state troopers responded to Lake Ozonia Road in the town of Waverly for a reported burglary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">An investigation allegedly determined an unknown individual unlawfully entered a cabin without permission by breaking windows. Further investigation found a male entered the cabin and reportedly stole property. A vehicle associated with the incident was subsequently identified and located in the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Through continued investigation, troopers identified Wilson as the individual allegedly responsible for the burglary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Wilson was arrested and transported to the state police headquarters in Ray Brook for processing.
