Brooklyn250 is a borough-wide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn, supported by $350,000 in state funding. <\/p>\n

Led by The Green-Wood Cemetery<\/a>, the Old Stone House<\/a>, Brooklyn Public Library\u2019s Center for Brooklyn History<\/a>, Prospect Park Alliance<\/a>, Fort Greene Park Conservancy<\/a>, and Friends of Fort Defiance<\/a> the initiative brings Brooklyn\u2019s Revolutionary history to life through free tours, exhibitions, performances, reenactments, panel discussions, book talks, family programs, and a collectible \u201cthen-and-now\u201d pamphlet and map. <\/p>\n
