Officials say it happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday on Prospect Avenue between Garden Street and Grote Street.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The boy suffered multiple gunshot wounds through his body, according to police.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Paramedics rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Information about what sparked the shooting was not immediately known.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 17-year-old boy was critically wounded during a shooting in Belmont, police say.
