New Jersey (WABC) &#8212; A man was slashed in the forehead during a fight aboard a Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train stopped at Liberty State Park in Jersey City early Saturday, according to NJ Transit Police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">One person was arrested and charged with assault and weapon possession.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police said they received a call about the altercation at approximately 12:50 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators determined the confrontation began between two adult men on board the train and escalated into the slashing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical attention, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The other man was arrested for assault and possession of a weapon.
