BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A woman was killed and a man was wounded after a shooting early Sunday, police said.<\/p>\n
Police responded to a 911 call just after 2:20 a.m. reporting a person shot near Bergen Street and Howard Avenue in Brooklyn. Officers arrived and found two victims.<\/p>\n

Police said it is not yet clear whether either victim was the intended target.<\/p>\n Police said the woman was shot in the back and taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
