GRAVESEND, Brooklyn (PIX11) \u2013 A Brooklyn autoshop worker is fighting for their life after they were viciously stabbed over a dozen times Friday morning, sources told PIX11 News.<\/p>\n
The suspect walked into the shop on Avenue X in Gravesend just before 11 a.m. and told the worker he was going to go bankrupt, sources said. He then stabbed the worker roughly 16 times, per sources.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n The suspect barricaded himself inside, and the FDNY had to kick down the door to access the victim, sources said.<\/p>\n The victim was rushed to a hospital with a collapsed lung, according to sources. They were listed in critical condition.<\/p>\n More Crime News <\/a><\/p>\n It was unclear whether the suspect and victim knew each other before the attack or if the suspect was a customer of the autoshop.<\/p>\n The suspect was taken into custody, sources said.
