However, as her 37-year-old husband attempted to break up the clash, they were both viciously assaulted.<\/p>\n<p>Cops say the suspect first used a blunt object to strike the wife across her head before slashing her arm. He then turned his attention to the husband, stabbing him several times in the back. When paramedics and officers from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/nypd\/bureaus\/patrol\/precincts\/52nd-precinct.page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">52nd Precinct<\/a> arrived, they found both victims bloodied.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-137864830\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG_5427.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"828\" title=\"Husband and wife attacked with blunt object, stabbed in the Bronx: cops 2\"  \/>Police say they are on the hunt for a Bronx brute who attacked a husband and wife with multiple weapons during the early hours of Sunday morning, leaving them both hospitalized.NYPD<\/p>\n<p>EMS rushed them to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the perpetrator fled the scene in a dark colored SUV traveling Eastbound on Evelyn Place.
