The model usually relies on layered mesh and suede, while this version introduces patent leather as the dominant surface. The glossy finish gives the shoe a sharper visual presence and pushes its early-2000s influence further through a material rarely associated with this particular ASICS model.<\/p>\n

The GEL-NYC already occupies an established place within the brand\u2019s current footwear lineup. ASICS originally developed the silhouette with help from AWAKE founder Angelo Baque, giving the model a collaborative foundation from its introduction.
