{"id":32506,"date":"2025-11-07T22:42:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T22:42:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/32506\/"},"modified":"2025-11-07T22:42:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T22:42:07","slug":"24-year-old-accused-of-keeping-teen-hostage-in-his-apartment-for-more-than-a-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/32506\/","title":{"rendered":"24-year-old accused of keeping teen hostage in his apartment for more than a day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 24-year-old is accused of keeping a teen hostage in his apartment for more than a day.<\/p>\n<p>It happened less than two weeks before his next court date for an alleged sexual assault from 2023.<\/p>\n<p>William Credle, 24, <a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/man-arrested-for-raping-15-year-old-girl-in-the-bronx\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is now facing a list of charges<\/a>, including rape and unlawful imprisonment, accused of keeping a 15-year-old girl hostage in his Belmont apartment for more than 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Credle is accused of sending the girl a car service to her home in New Jersey to come to his apartment building on Hughes Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>He is said to have shown her a gun, drugged her and took her tablet that she uses to contact people.<\/p>\n<p>He then is accused of raping her twice as she pleaded for him to stop.<\/p>\n<p>Credle is in custody, but police believe he has more victims.<\/p>\n<p>Police are encouraging those people to come forward.<\/p>\n<p>He is expected in court on Nov. 10 for his latest charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 24-year-old is accused of keeping a teen hostage in his apartment for more than a day.
