{"id":326360,"date":"2026-08-21T02:28:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T02:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/326360\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T02:28:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T02:28:09","slug":"subway-service-alerts-brooklyn-heights-and-nearby-43","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/326360\/","title":{"rendered":"Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this weekend (late tomorrow evening, Friday, August 21 through early Monday morning, August 24) should be a \u201cgreen light weekend,\u201d as there are no planned cancellations, route changes, or station skips directly and negatively affecting service at any local stations.<\/p>\n<p>The following work week \u2013 Monday morning, August 24 through Friday evening, August 28 \u2013 late nights to early mornings Monday to Tuesday through Thursday to Friday there will be no Brooklyn bound service at High Street as Brooklyn bound A trains will be re-routed to the F line between West 4th Street-Washington Square and Jay Street-MetroTech, and C trains do not serve Brooklyn late at night. This means extra Brooklyn bound service at York Street in DUMBO.<\/p>\n<p>These are the PLANNED changes affecting local service for this weekend and for the following week.
