A young mom was fatally stabbed while trying to fend off an aggressive ex-lover during a family barbecue at a Brooklyn park earlier this week, authorities said Thursday.<\/p>\n
Shakeema Davis, 30, was fatally stabbed after refusing the suspect\u2019s repeated sexual advances in Lincoln Terrace Park near Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights at around 12:40am on\u00a0Tuesday, according to the NYPD. Davis had invited the former flame to the party after he called her, but between the drinking and the smoking, things took a turn, and he began \u201cannoying her for sex,\u201d according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny.
