(WIBW) &#8211; A man was arrested following an incident Thursday evening at a Manhattan homeless shelter, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The incident leading to the arrest was reported around 6:09 p.m. Thursday at the Manhattan Emergency Shelter, 416 S. 4th St. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Victims in the incident included a 26-year-old woman; a 40-year-old man; a 46-year-old man; a 32-year-old man; and the Manhattan Emergency Shelter.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"A man was arrested in connection with battery on a law enforcement officer and other crimes...\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1787334884_992_QMRODRTYBJOTZDAMAFFT62ZOWA.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"650\" \/>A man was arrested in connection with battery on a law enforcement officer and other crimes following an incident Thursday evening at a Manhattan homeless shelter, officials said.(WIBW)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Nicolus Allen Weiss, 35, of Manhattan, who was identified as the suspect in the case, was arrested at approximately 6:36 p.m. Thursday at the shelter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with four counts of battery on a law enforcement officer; one count of interference with a law enforcement officer; and one count of criminal damage to property. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers later filed a report around 7 p.m. Thursday in connection with two additional counts of battery on a law enforcement officer at 10001 S. Seth Child Road. Victims in those cases were listed as a 26-year-old woman and a 29-year-old woman. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Weis was issued a total bond of $16,000 and remained Friday in the Riley County Jail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers filed a report for four counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of interference with a law enforcement officer and one count for criminal damage to property at approximately 6:09 p.m. on Aug. 20 in the 400 block of S. 4thStreet. Victims listed included a 26-year-old woman, a 40-year-old man, a 46-year-old man, a 32-year-old man and the Manhattan Emergency Shelter. A 35-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Nicolus Allen Weiss, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:36 p.m. on four counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of interference with a law enforcement officer and one count for criminal damage to property. Officers later filed a report for additional charges for battery on a law enforcement officer and battery on a law enforcement officer; physical contact with a corrections\/court services officer at approximately 7 p.m. Victims listed included a 26-year-old woman and a 29-year-old woman. Weis was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer and battery on a law enforcement officer; physical contact with a corrections\/court services officer.
