A line of fast-moving storms led to flooding in parts of New York City and New Jersey on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Flooding near Exit 5 of the Clearview Expressway in Queens trapped two cars.<\/p>\n

The drivers were able to safely make it out of their vehicles with help from the FDNY.<\/p>\n

Lanes of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and Long Island Expressway were closed for a time.<\/p>\n

In Newark, firefighters responded to calls of cars stuck in the area of Frelinghuysen Avenue and Meeker Avenue.<\/p>\n

Firefighters used an inflatable raft to safely rescue three drivers.<\/p>\n
