Popular Franklin Park, NJ, Indian restaurant and lounge Samudhra signed a lease for about 10,000 square feet, its first location in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p>The mixed-use building was developed by Taconic Partners and National Real Estate Advisors, who wanted a major eatery in the project. Taconi senior vice-president George Tsapelas said, \u201cOur vision \u00a0has been to create a dynamic mixed-use destination that contributes to the energy of the area, and Samudhra further strengthens the retail and dining mix we\u2019ve curated at the property.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"   data-modal-image=\"40472882\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/ellery-nyc-312-138295864_7c78a1.jpg\" alt=\"The Ellery NYC building, located at 312 W 43rd St, New York, NY, on a sunny day.\" class=\"wp-image-40472882\"\/>Samudhra, based in Franklin Park, NJ, will open its first Manhattan location at The Ellery.   Google Maps<\/p>\n<p>The landlord was represented by CBRE\u2019s Lon Rubackin, Michael Kadosh, and Bevan Cohen.\u00a0Samudhra was repped by Brad Schwarz of Lee &amp; Associates.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant will be on the Ellery\u2019s West 43rd Street side. The 33-story tower\u2019s taller portion stands above West 42nd Street. All 330 units were rented within 11 months, boasts tenants\u2019 amenities that include a rooftop pool and fitness center.
