\n Levitt
\n Capital Management<\/a>, a France-based wealth manager for US
\n citizens living in Europe, has opened its first New York office,
\n it announced today.\u00a0
\n<\/p>\n
\n Located in the Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, the\u00a0office
\n will give Levitt a US base to meet with prospective and existing
\n clients, as well as other professionals based in the city, it
\n said in a statement.\u00a0
\n<\/p>\n
\n Headquartered in Nice, France, Levitt Capital Management was
\n founded to address the advice challenges facing US citizens who
\n relocate to Europe. Unlike citizens of most countries, US expats
\n still have to file annual returns to the Internal Revenue
\n Service, creating a compliance burden that can deter foreign
\n financial firms from serving them.
\n<\/p>\n
\n However, a number of specialist organizations are reaching out to
\n expats, recognizing that they are often affluent. (See a related

\n In addition to managing their financial affairs, Levitt Capital
\n Management helps its clients integrate into their new countries
\n of residence, for example\u00a0by introducing them to networks of
\n like-minded individuals and providing them with curated cultural
\n experiences via its \u201cEuropean Life Series\u201d of events.
\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cAmericans who relocate to Europe have uniquely complex financial
\n needs, which advisors on either side of the Atlantic are
\n ill-equipped to understand and address,\u201d Robert Levitt, who
\n founded the firm and is its chief investment officer, said.

\n Levitt Capital Management was founded in 2022. Levitt previously
\n established and managed a Boca Raton, Florida-headquartered hedge
\n fund before moving to France in 2007.
