The move is part of the citywide Doula initiative.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The new benefit will include up to eight visits both before and after birth, as well as one in-person labor and delivery report visit.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">More than 4,200 people have received Doula care through the citywide Doula initiative since its launch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Access to care before, during and after childbirth is expanding for people in New York City.
