A Bronx man charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-vehicle crash in Yorktown is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court tonight.<\/p>\n
Enrique Dejesus Montoya-Carcamo, 25, was arrested Aug. 12 after Yorktown police said an officer responded at about 10:41 p.m. to a motor vehicle crash near Route 100 and Seven Bridges Road.<\/p>\n
An officer found Montoya-Carcamo next to an overturned vehicle. Police said further investigation determined he was allegedly driving while intoxicated.<\/p>\n
Montoya-Carcamo was also charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and several traffic infractions, including disobeying a traffic control device, failing to use a designated lane, moving from a lane unsafely, driving at an unreasonable speed and operating an unlicensed vehicle.<\/p>\n
He was taken to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation and later transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. He was released on his own recognizance and issued uniform traffic tickets.<\/p>\n
