That\u2019s according to a new report from the real estate platform PropertyShark. The report says foreclosures in New York City are down 5% year over year. But foreclosures in the Bronx reached 109 in the second quarter of 2026, which is a seven-year high.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-base line-height-3\">Christie Peale is the CEO and Executive Director of the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, which advocates for affordable home ownership across the city.
